Gondek Law Speedway wrapped up the regular season by crowning its season champions Friday. Four of the six divisions have been doubtful heading into the very last night on the Superior race track. The only division champs already recognized were Kevin Burdick prevailing his 2nd straight Super Stocks title and Hornets rookie Tyler Schramm, who held a forty-five-factor lead over Nate Rose. With Burdick’s title already in hand, Matt Dragon proceeded to choose up his first Super Stocks function win of the season and 2d professional win at Gondik Law Speedway.
Cory Jorgensen’s seven-point lead over Jared Akervik, many of the Pure Stocks, held as Jorgensen captured the track title with his fifth feature of the season and 8th heat race victory. Hornets champion Schramm completed 10th within the feature, which changed into received by Tyler Kachinske.
Skeeter Estey won his fourth Midwest Modifieds feature at Superior, but it becomes Andrew Inman who retained his usual point lead to win his first music championship. Late Models rookie Devin VanHouse, who held a nine-factor lead over Kevin Carlson heading the finale, overcame a fifth-location start to win the function and the tune championship. Jody Bellefeuille’s 5-point lead over Danny Vang inside the Modifieds series remained at five factors as Bellefeuille took home his 2d track championship in a week with a 3rd-vicinity finish in the function. Johnny Broking changed into the function winner.
